Conyer Roofing & Exteriors

Roof breached? We’ll stop the sky tonight.

Tree strike, tornado breach, or blown-off section — emergency tarping stops the water damage clock while the permanent fix and the insurance claim get sorted properly.
  • Tarp or board-up the same day
  • Every opening photographed for your claim
  • One local crew from tarp to final shingle
  • Emergency line answered day and night — storm response is what we do

Every hour a breached roof stays open, the damage bill grows — soaked insulation, sagging drywall, warped flooring, and the mold clock starts within 48 hours. Emergency tarping is cheap compared to any of it, and your insurance policy expects you to mitigate: carriers can reduce payouts for damage that worsened because nobody covered the hole.

Our tarps are installed to actually survive the next storm — anchored through battens into framing, not weighted down with whatever's nearby. It's the difference between "protected until the rebuild" and "doing this again Thursday."

Emergency response, step by step

  1. Call us — any hour

A real local human, not a call center. We dispatch based on severity and safety.

  2. Stabilize & tarp

Heavy-duty tarps anchored correctly (not brick-and-hope), openings boarded, hazards flagged.

  3. Document for insurance

Photos of everything before and after stabilization — evidence your claim will need.

  4. Permanent repair plan

Assessment and scope for the real fix, coordinated with your carrier.

How does the roof insurance claim process work in Tennessee?

The short version: document, file, adjust, build.

  1. Free inspection first. We assess the roof and photograph every bit of storm damage. If the damage doesn't justify a claim, we tell you straight — filing a weak claim can count against you.
  2. You file the claim. You call your carrier (or file online) and report the date of the storm. We can be on the phone with you if that helps.
  3. The adjuster visit. Your insurance company sends an adjuster. We meet them on your roof so the damage we documented actually gets seen and scoped correctly.
  4. Scope and payment. The carrier issues a scope of work and initial payment (often in two parts — the second arrives after the work is complete).
  5. The build. We restore the roof to code with manufacturer-spec installation, then submit the final invoice and documentation to release your remaining funds.

You pay your deductible — nothing more, nothing less. That's the law in Tennessee, and any contractor telling you otherwise is a red flag.

Is the roof inspection really free? What’s the catch?

Yes — genuinely free, and there's no catch. A member of our team walks the roof (or flies it, if walking isn't safe), photographs what we find, and gives you a straight written assessment.

Three things can come out of it: the roof is fine (we'll tell you, and you should ignore anyone who says otherwise); it needs a repair (we'll quote it); or it has storm damage or age issues that justify replacement or an insurance claim (we'll walk you through options).

Roughly a third of the inspections we run end with "your roof is fine, call us in a few years." That honesty is why our referrals keep coming.

Water coming in? Call us — don’t fill in a form.

Active leaks and open roofs go to the front of the queue.
