Honest guidance
Repair, restore, or replace?
Not every problem means a full replacement. We’ll give you an honest assessment and help you understand the best path forward — no pressure.

Inspect and maintain
Scheduled inspections catch small membrane and flashing problems before they become interior leaks.
You’re hereRestore with a coating
A sound roof near the end of its life can often be restored with a coating system for a fraction of replacement.

Replace the roof
When the membrane or deck has failed, a new TPO or EPDM system is the long-term answer.
For a commercial building owner, a restoration coating is often the highest-return decision available on the roof — when the roof qualifies.
The financial case. Coating typically runs a fraction of full replacement cost, avoids tear-off and disposal entirely, and frequently qualifies as a maintenance expense rather than a capital improvement. Ask your accountant, because the tax treatment can matter as much as the price.
The operational case. No tear-off means no open roof over occupied space, no debris, no crane, and no shutting down operations. Work proceeds section by section around your business.
The qualification. We core-test the roof first. Dry insulation and a sound deck mean coating is viable; wet insulation means it is not, and we will say so. Silicone handles ponding water better and suits our rainfall; acrylic costs less on well-drained roofs.
Coatings are renewable — recoat before the warranty expires and the system extends again, which for many owners becomes a permanent alternative to ever replacing the roof.

Questions
Commercial Roof Coating Questions, Answered
What commercial roofing systems do you install?
As a GAF Gold Elite Commercial Contractor we install and service the systems that cover most Middle Tennessee commercial buildings:
- TPO single-ply membrane — the workhorse for flat and low-slope roofs; reflective, weldable, cost-effective
- Modified bitumen — multi-ply protection for roofs that take foot traffic
- Commercial shingle and metal systems for pitched-roof businesses, churches, and multifamily buildings
- Roof coatings and restorations that can add 10–15 years to an aging flat roof for a fraction of replacement cost
We work around your business hours, handle manufacturer warranties, and give facility owners a straight answer on repair-vs-restore-vs-replace.
How does the roof insurance claim process work in Tennessee?
The short version: document, file, adjust, build.
- Free inspection first. We assess the roof and photograph every bit of storm damage. If the damage doesn't justify a claim, we tell you straight — filing a weak claim can count against you.
- You file the claim. You call your carrier (or file online) and report the date of the storm. We can be on the phone with you if that helps.
- The adjuster visit. Your insurance company sends an adjuster. We meet them on your roof so the damage we documented actually gets seen and scoped correctly.
- Scope and payment. The carrier issues a scope of work and initial payment (often in two parts — the second arrives after the work is complete).
- The build. We restore the roof to code with manufacturer-spec installation, then submit the final invoice and documentation to release your remaining funds.
You pay your deductible — nothing more, nothing less. That's the law in Tennessee, and any contractor telling you otherwise is a red flag.
